Use the limit process to find the slope of the tangent line.?
回答 (2)
The answer is as follows :
f(x+h) - f(x) = 9/[6(x+h) - 5] - 9/[6x - 5]
= 9/(6x + 6h - 5) - 9/(6x - 5)
Combine them over a common denominator (6x + 6h - 5)(6x - 5). Subtract numerators. Simplify.
Then divide by h so you have [f(x+h) - f(x)] / h
Take the limit as h->0.
Go ahead and do some of your own algebra, then come back if you have a question.
