Well first of all, the last thing you should be thinking of when needing a blood transfusion is weight. However; if anything it should make you feel better because your iron levels will be higher again. There is generally no weight gain caused by a blood transfusion. No, it will not. I had one done in 2016. If anything, it'll give you more energy due to the fact that your iron level will rise.
