clutch fluid is full everything is checked besides transmission. When I start the car it wont go into first gear from neutral but if I start it in first it goes smooth and easy up to third gear but fourth and fifth kinda hard. Reverse is an issue too... any ideas?

Shift bushing probably - take it to a Honda dealer - less risk of getting sold a bill of goods by some jack-leg mechanic.

Linkage needs adjustment. Either a steel cable or steel rods that connect the shifter to the tranny. Could be the clutch is boogered up? I'd bet the linkage just needs adjustment.

Bleed the clutch, check for pedal free play and check adjustment on slave cylinder. No joy, time to drop the transaxle.

It sounds like you either have air in the hydraulic clutch system or the transmission input shaft is binding in the flywheel bushing/bearing and the tranny keeps spinning even though the clutch pedal is down all the way.
"Everything is checked"? Does that mean you know how to bleed the clutch hydraulic system and there's no air coming out of the slave cylinder bleeder screw?
Best find a mechanic!

Sounds to me like you have clutch problems. Maybe the clutch isn't fully releasing. Have the clutch cylinder checked and bled if necessary.

It is the clutch release system. Try "pumping" up the clutch hydraulic system. Several full strokes of the clutch pedal. If it pumps up then at least the master cylinder is working right. If it will not pump up then the problem might be the master cylinder.
There is a valve in this system called the "residual pressure valve". It might be an integral part of the master cylinder, slave cylinder or the line between the two. It's purpose is to keep a set amount of pressure in the line to provide for self adjustments. When it fails the system bleeds down and does what you are experiencing.
Then there is the slave cylinder which might be close its limits because of wear of the clutch.

Your car needs to be replaced
