i got my first ever tattoo tuesday of a barbedwire cross on my wrist and i been supplying antibiotic ointment and washing it with soap and water everyday like ur suppose to

Yes that's part of the healing process and completely normal. If you have any tattoo ointment or unscented not died lotion then apply a light layer of it at least twice a day. You should also be washing your tattoo with unscented, not died, non antibacterial, plain soap.Tattoos take about 2-4 weeks to heal completely.

Yes, its normal. The tattoo will look shiny and wrinkly until its fully healed.
