HMRC Tax refund the UK?

Hello ,
I have been sending financial support to my mother back in our home country every month.
I was told that you could get a percentage back from what you have sent during from HMRC tax office in the UK , is that true ? how i get back ,

You do not get a tax break for sending money to your mother. Go back to whomever told you that and ask them for clarification.

HMRC will refund you if you've overpaid on your tax.

You can't get a refund for sending money to your mother. This is nothing to do with the tax office.

You were told wrong. You do not get tax relief on money you send abroad.

Nope - you get the same allowances as everyone else. What you do with your income after tax is your problem.

LOL! No, HMRC does not give tax refunds based on you sending your money overseas.

You pay tax on ALL your earnings in the UK.
How you spend it is up to you.
