a) Calcium carbonate reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid to give calcium chloride solution, water and carbon dioxide gas.
OR: Burning carbon in excess oxygen gas to give carbon dioxide gas.

b) Mixing a solution of silver nitrate with a solution of sodium carbonate gives silver carbonate precipitate and sodium nitrate solution.

c) Heat antimony in chlorine gas to give antimony(III) chloride.

d) Reaction of strontium metal with cold water gives strontium hydroxide solution and hydrogen gas.

e) Mixing calcium chloride solution with potassium phosphate solution gives calcium phosphate precipitate and potassium chloride solution.
