No. basically it was "invented" by Sigmund Freud as a couple other Austrian Drs. andd had nothing to do with minorities, their patients were quite wealthy.

Hahahaha! The Nazis despised psychiatry because it was Jewish. Freud and some other leading psychiatrists were Jewish, but the science was international and secular. To dismiss it as Jewish was spiteful propaganda.
At the end of WWI Hitler's army psychiatrist diagnosed him as a psychopath with hysterical tendencies. I'm sure Hitler resented this with all the malice he could muster.

No. Psychiatry was invented long before the Nazis came to power. And the most famous psychiatrist of the early 20th century, Sigmund Freud, was a Jew whom the Nazis would have murdered if they could have gotten their hands on him.
