Not HIS income but any income YOU get from him living with you (such as rent)

Think you should get advice to clarify your position as regards him not paying rent but having an income
YOU have no obligation to house a 19 years old UNLESS they are student (the key is "obligation" - you can house them if you want but you dont have to)
and what you CANT do is house somebody you have no obligation to house no cost (zero rent) with them earning an income, then YOU get an increased tax credit as a result

UK answer:

You would not normally need to include your 19 year old son's income but read this page to make sure you are in compliance https://www.gov.uk/guidance/tax-credits-working-out-income Generally his income would only be included if he is in receipt of benefits.

You don't report your son's income on your tax return, he files his own. If he's not a student, he's not your dependent either unless he made less than $4050. His income may come into play when figuring out the ACA credit and/or penalty.

No.

He files his own income tax, whatever his income. If he is living with you and doesn't contribute to household support, you get to declare him as a dependent.

No, but unless he's a full time student, you can't claim him as a dependent even if you support him.if he makes over 4050 total
