!) I got the Xbox 360 version and an update that is supposed to let you get all the weapons after you complete the first radio tower, but it doesn't seem to work. Does it work on say the PS4 version or is this just an error?

1) You've got it wrong. Each time you activate a Radio Tower, you unlock ONE weapon.
To unlock all of them, you must activate ALL towers.

2) Jason Brody is the main protagonsit of Far Cry 3. He IS the main character.
(And he won't be bacl, because they don't link the Far Cry games together as sequels at all.)
Unless by "Jason" you mean Jason Vorhees of Friday 13th? Then the answer is no. Far cry doesn't do licenced characters like that. THey only write original characters. Besides theres already a Friday 13th game where you play as Jason Vorhess.
