That depends on what programs you'll be running. For programs that will only use 1 or 2 cores, the E7500 has a higher IPC. Most everyday programs and light games can't use more than 2 cores, so I'd look into how many cores your games and programs can use, then base it off of that.
Having 4 cores does you no good when your program can only use 2, unless you like to keep a lot of other programs running at the same time.
