These guys speak too fast, they say a 20 Word sentence in 4 seconds.

I don't get enough time to hear every word plus recognize the tone.

When you're learning any language, it's easier to read, where you can control the tempo, than to understand native speakers at their normal tempo, which seems too fast because you're stopping to translate into your own language.

A common problem, although more in some languages than others. I read French easily and often do so for pleasure, but I cannot understand it spoken at normal speed. On the other hand, I have never had this problme with German, Portuguese or Spanish.

That's normal, for any foreign language. If you stick with it, it will get better.

I’m too.
English is so hard, especially in spoken English.
CNN anchors speak English so fast, I think they say 20 words sentence in 4 seconds or even less.
For me, written English is more comprehensible.
Because CNN reporting is too difficult for me, I try to listen to TED talks, at least, I can listen it again and again and again. I think you can do this way too or ask them to speak slowly.
