I’m an English learner, according to Longman:
From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English
bent on something.
completely determined to do something, especially something bad
a crowd of hooligans bent on violence.
be bent on doing something.
They seemed bent on destroying his career.
→ hell-bent
My question is, could “bent on” be used in positive contexts like as follows:
I’m now studying hard and I’m bent on becoming a doctor
Thanks, very much.
