Am I Damaging My Hearing?

I listen to music a lot. Sometimes hours in a day. I use earphones, and I usually turn the volume pretty high. My parents always told me I would go deaf, but I ignored them. For the past month, whenever a decently loud sound goes off, my right ear rings for a couple of seconds. It's just my right ear. It doesn't even need to be that loud of a sound, just louder than normal. It happens almost every day, multiple times a day. Today, I realized that often when I smile, my right ear feels like it has water in it. It's kind of hard to explain, but that's what it feels like. Again, it's just my right ear. I'm a teenager, if that helps. Is my hearing my hearing being damaged? If so, what can I do? Thanks.

yes..
the ear has few ways to defend itself from injury.. ringing (Tinnitus), watery ear and maybe general pain around the ear..
i do not think that the damage is permanent.. you have your age to thank for.. younger people usually recover faster and better than if you were 30 or 40 years old..

turn that volume down.. or take few days off without music.. good luck in that..

Of course your hearing is being damaged. Turn the volume down.

It is already a warning sign for you, so please stop exposing yourself to too much noise. Even one single noise can cause permanent hearing loss if it is loud enough!!

you should refrain from having the volume up to loud.. if you continue to using high volume then you risk contracting a condition called tinnitus... which can be very distressing ..and the bad news is its incurable

Well, yes.....it could have been damaged. But hopefully your ear is full of wax. So go to your chemist and ask for something to get rid of ear wax. If that does not help go to your family doctor. He can maybe spray it out. That may get rid of it hopefully. Do that first and hopefully you will be fine, but believe your parent . They are right . Loud music can damage your ears. Ringing in your ear is not a wonderful sign...sorry to say

yes, and you will also damage your ears if you use tooth paste with fluoride.
