I Have 2 questions. I know the answers I just don't know how to solve them. Help please

2 You have to factorise the numerator and denominator and cancel out any common factors
(x^2 + 3x - 28)/(x^2 -7x + 12)
= (x + 7)(x - 4)/(x - 4)(x - 3)
= (x + 7)/(x - 3) ................x - 4 is a common factor
3 First simplify denominator and use division of fractions
5/[ 1/6 + 1/(x + 1)]
= 5/[ ((x + 1) + 6)/6(x + 1)]
= 5/[ (x + 7)/6(x + 1)]
= 5 * 6(x + 1)(x + 7)
= 30(x + 1)/(x + 7)

= (x + 7) / (x − 3)

= [6(x+1) * 5] / [6(x+1) * (1/6 + 1/(x+1))]
= 30(x+1) / [(x+1) + 6]
= 30(x+1) / (x+7)
