Do people still think the same as they did when they voted for trump?

I imagine some of his base has fallen off the band wagon. However, the current approval ratings are in line with the percetage of Americans who voted for him. His approval rating is 37% and will continue to drop. I would not be surprised that by this time next year it's below 25%. Trump is a disaster and unfit for the office.

That is how the average American is, in fact the American media thinks and controls most American peoples thoughts, it even makes many Americans partake in such nonsense as fat acceptance and saying big is beautiful.

If Trump continues keeping his campaign promises - which he seems to have every intention of doing - then it won't matter who the Democrats run in 2020. That assumes the Democrat party doesn't disintegrate when the Republicans win super majorities in both houses of Congress via the 2018 mid-term elections.
