should i get over it?

its been 3 years i really miss the lady who took care of me all me life until i was about 13 and she was step mother at the time and she was my blood sister's mother also even though she wasnt my real mom i thought of her and her kids and family as my own. then she moved to north carolina 3 years ago and i stayed with my actual my my mom for the summer in pa thinking that i would only be the for the summer but it turns out i actually stayed longer and when it was time for court i told my mom i wanted live with her but i really didnt i just said it to make her happy and i was 13 at the time and i have never heard from my step mom and im in contact with her son and we are really close and her son said that she told the kid from s that they are not allowed to speak to me anymore but idk why and i havent heard from sister in years and its killing me everyday and im always sad i live with my my actual family now but i will never forget my sis or her mom btw im 16
