before any of you say i'm making up words, The Aswang is a vampire from The Philipines while The Penanggalan comes from Malaysia.

vampires are classified in many categories, living vampires and undead vampires, blood drinking vampires and life draining vampires, day-walkers and night-walkers. vampires require life-force to survive so some drain it directly while others drink blood to obtain it, some vampires such as The Aswang or Penanggalan drink blood from pregnant women due to the extra life-force. some can't withstand sunlight, while others can come out during the day.

It's fine, but barely touches the surface of the mythology. There are so many variations at this point that it would take a multi-page essay to do it justice.

Mythology and Folklore. Look at the category. You have been reading the characterizations and descriptions others have created. This mythical non-existent creature can be anyone you wish, or anything. It is your turn to create what you need. You may borrow some common traits, but make your character his own. It could be interesting if he were the normal joe nest door. Also consider, a vampire (appliance) is something that just robs others of power, or other things. It doesn't even have to be a blood sucker. do you rown thing amd make it what you want. Good luck.
