First time shaving pubes?

So today I shaved my pubes for the first time, they finished growing when I was about 11 and it s almost my 16th birthday, so I had to shave off A LOT. The prickles keep annoying me when I walk and it s quite warm and itchy down there. What should I do? And when will my hair finish growing back again?

Looking like a six year old again i see. You've given yourself quite the opportunity to get ingrown hairs and cysts.
For me, i trim well, i shave the anal area and my bikini area only. Or i wax. I was six years old once, don't need to look that way again. And i'd like a man to have some idea he's with a mature woman when he's down there.
I don't see the sense in shaving.
