I spilled water all over my MacBook Air and it wont turn on?

Today I spilled water all over my MacBook Air. I didn’t even realize that I had spilled the water until my music started to skip. After a few seconds, my screen turned off. It won’t turn back on. I can’t remove the battery because I don’t have them proper tools to do that. Unfortunately, I didn’t know what to do and decided to try and turn my computer on later. It made the noise that it makes when you turn it on and then it showed a file with a question mark. I looked up what to do and set it is rice. Again, I made the stupid decision to try and turn it on, but this time I got nothing. Then I made an even more stupid decision and plugged it intocable the charger. I’m my defense, I didn’t know that it was bad to do that. The light on the charger doesn’t even turn on when I plug it in, so now I am worried that it isn’t done for. Is there anything I can do? I am really freaking out right now.

Don't try anything else, but take it to a computer repair shop. (Meanwhile, my advice is never to have a drink near the computer, as to is so easy to have such an accident)

If you have a gun, then you should just shoot your computer just to make sure it's 100% broken, or if you have a baseball bat, then you should just take a good swing at your computer.

NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! Spill water on a computer, and this should be common sense, but apparently IT'S NOT common sense.

Unfortunately - it's too late to repair. You've cooked it.

You now own a very expensive place-mat.

Take a gun then just shoot yourself for being so stupid. Rice is a myth. The liquid spill will have set up an electrolytic corrosive reaction and caused damage to the tracks and components. As far as I am aware rice does not have magical properties to repair track damage.
With your MacBook Air being so expensive it is probably worth it to take it to a specialist repairer who deals with board level component repair. If repairable it won’t be cheap but it will be cheaper than an Apple refurb that would be offered at an Apple store. Most offer a no fix no fee service. If you are in the US you can mail it in to Rossman repair group who are one of the few techs that will deal with spill damage.

Here's an idea: now you can buy yourself a nice Dell laptop. Or HP if you prefer. Literally any other laptop that isn't Mac. You've done yourself a favor.
