Story is : i'm an otaku so i'm strict when it comes to visuals so 1280 x 800 is an SD for me but 1280x1024 is an HD so i want to Overclock it to 1920 x 1080 monitor

Graphic Card is intel GMA 4500MHD

Processor Is Intel core 2 duo 2.40GZ

Memory Card is 4GB

so my question is : is it O.K to do it or should i not ? what are the side effects of it

and can i overclock it to 1920 x 1080 !
更新1:

Side question: if I shouldn't overclock it to 1920 x 1080 then what about 1280 x 1024?.

The monitor has a physical pixel resolution.

Using a different video resolution setting - lower _or_higher_ - decreases image quality.

On any given monitor, you get the best possible image when the set video output/display resolution exactly matches the monitor physical resolution.

Any mismatch means display pixels are blurred / smeared across more than one physical pixel cell in the screen, reducing the image sharpness.

(And changing resolution is a different thing to "overclocking").

If the laptop screen is not capable of 1920 X 1080, there is NOTHING you can go to force it to display that resolution.

You really don't know what "overclocking" means do you?

LCD displays have a specific number of pixels on; you can't magically create additional pixels on an LCD screen.

Overclocking isn't increasing the resolution. It's increasing the refresh rate, and AFAIK it's not possible on Intel graphics. You can't just type in a few numbers and magically add more pixels to a screen.
