An adventure (a story of a foolish adventures):

Once I left for Taiwan with no money in hand, just a backpack of underwear and personal hygiene. To have money for a good meal and other travel needs, I sang and danced in the subways and train stations for donations. That way, I traveled through Taipei, Xinju, Taijong, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.

One quick note for street performing is that old men were usually more generous in Taiwan for donations. Young ladies were the most frugal unless you sang romantic songs.

An adventure is a strange or unusual happening especially an exciting or dangerous air-journey. A flight in an aeroplane used to be an adventure from Nanking to Tainan via Burma.
