Missed call from a five digit phone number?

I sort of want to call back to see what it was but I also don t want to die in seven days. What does a five digit number mean? I m not getting any good answers online.

Legitimate phone numbers have seven digits, as you know. Your curiosity is fully understandable, but it is an inclination which scammers use against you. The smart choice is to block the number and delete the call. Any person who has a legitimate reason to contact you will try some other method, and if their reason is not legitimate, then you certainly don't want to contact them.

But any ways, there is software available that lets people spoof their phone numbers to have it show up as something else on your caller ID. They can even make it look like your own phone number is calling you.
It is most likely a scam. Ignore it and move on with your life.
