If Trumps budget is approved does that mean section 8 housing is out?

I am not aware of any budget pending before congress. No, Section 8 funds are not being eliminated. They could be reduced and fewer vouchers given out in the county. I have not seen anything about this.

For some people, that could turn out to be the case, especially able-bodied adults. Elderly & disabled are not likely to be affected.

Congress decides on the budget,not the president.

As to section subsidized housing, currently it is not very effective as there is an extremely long waiting list in order to be placed in housing, after you complete the application.

It appears as if this budget would not eliminate or curtail the section 8 subsidy.
