It's sad when children are abused, boys or girls, but don't pretend girls are not shamed as well and have to hide and repress their emotions too. It's much the same thing.

Anyone who is abused as a child should seek psychological help because it's unlikely they will be able to overcome the issues just by themselves - this is usually way too traumatic.

It's wrong that boys or men aren't allowed to show any emotions other than anger. It's in fact sexist for people to assume that if your male, your not allowed to cry. People that rape children should not be accepted by society, whether they are male or female.

Feminism addresses that. It is toxic masculinity that causes men not to be allowed to show weakness or vulnerability. We want to stamp it out so that men and boys are free to speak out and seek help.

Boys don't keep it quiet because they are afraid they'll be laughed at. They keep it quiet because they don't want the woman to be arrested so maybe she'll want more sex. But they can't keep their mouths shut and brag about it to their friends. They don't get laughed at, they get applauded.
