Work together experiment:
Get a small branch of fresh thyme.
Close your eyes, pinch your nose.
Chew on the thyme.
Count to ten.
Open your mouth and inhale slowly.
Open your nose and inhale.
Boom! THYME!

Your brain makes you interpret smells as tastes when you are eating.
