Christians; if you follow the teachings of The Christ, ('Christ'-ians), how do you justify your self-satisfaction...?

You generalise..........maybe you should ask the question like this "why do SOME........" not all Christians do, hell fire is not a literal Bible teaching and those that use it as such are not true Christians !

No one suffers 'for eternity', the Bible says that the wages of sin is death, so, as we are all sinners, we eventually die, and death is the price we pay for our sins. However, Christ set out a programme for man to obtain the gift of eternal life on earth, and Christians believe that by following that programme, they have the chance of a resurrection to eternal life on earth. Those that are not chosen by God for resurrection will remain dead for eternity, that is the 'eternal punishment', eternal death, nothing more.

It isn't self satisfaction because everyone has the same opportunity to repent of their sins and accept Jesusas Lord and Savior.

God tells us that there is no such thing as life apart from God. It's a logical contradiction. And so to reject God is to reject life itself. Not even God can change it. We see people determined to separate themselves from God and we are powerless to stop them. I fail to find self satisfaction in this situation.

Because Christians can be as hypocritical as they want and still be forgiven as long as they repent sometime before they die. How else do you think they mastered hypocrisy to the point of it being their second nature?

With true Christians, there is no such thing as self-satisfaction of anyone going to hell, but only sadness. That's why they preach the gospel in the hope of preventing that for as many as possible. Just like God, they want everyone to be saved (1Tim 2:4), and are even willing to contribute money at church for that purpose.

Jesus justifies our short-comings. You're right all of us miss the mark in some area or another, however.....
