An electric range burner weighing 624.0 grams is turned off after reaching a temperature of 460.1°C, and is allowed to cool down to 22.4°C. Calculate the specific heat of the burner if all the heat evolved from the burner is used to heat 594.0 grams of water from 22.4°C to 80.3°C.

(4.184 J/g·°C) x (594.0 g) x (80.3 - 22.4)°C = 143898.6 J gained by the water (and lost by the burner)

(143898.6 J) / (624.0 g) / (460.1 - 22.4)°C = 0.527 J/g·°C
