Look for "We're Hiring!" signs - they're very thick on the ground in my zip code - Home Depot & Staples, for example.

When I was 33, I waited tables or tended bar. I made $800 a week at least during the season. I never had a problem getting a job. I could quit or get fired from a job and have a new one an hour later.

you need to do the same as anyone else - look online at the few legit sites that post openings and start applying

Look for a niche job.
If you like animals, start a dog walking business.
If you have handyman skills, there is plenty of work there.
If you are good with kids and have decent skills, offer to tutor.
Look on sites like Task Rabbit or Tackle, and see what you might be able to offer. You can charge a lot more for single jobs like that, than you would get in minimum wage hours. Once you prove yourself to be a good worker, you could in fact develop a following - and a business of your own. There are also Lyft and Uber...

None of these positions require you to be what some companies are often looking for- they don't want experience, they want kids they can pay the minimum salary who won't complain about horrible hours or heavy loads, and won't come back at them when they get worn out and are fired. Go find your own job, and make it into a business. It isn't that hard to do.
