(a)
CuCl₂(aq) + K₂CO₃(aq) → CuCO₃(s) + 2KCl(aq)
Total ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq) + 2K⁺(aq) + CO₃²⁻(aq) → CuCO₃(s) + 2K⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq)
Net ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + CO₃²⁻(aq) → CuCO₃(s)

(b)
CuCI₂(aq) + Na₂S(aq) → CuS(s) + 2NaCl(aq)
Total ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq) + 2Na⁺(aq) + S²⁻(aq) → CuS(s) + 2Na⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq)
Net ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + S²⁻(aq) → CuS(s)

(c)
CuCl₂(aq) + 2NH₄OH(aq) → Cu(OH)₂(s) + 2NH₄Cl(aq)
Total ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq) + 2NH₄⁺(aq) + 2OH⁻(aq) → Cu(OH)₂(s) + 2NH₄⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq)
Net ionic: Cu²⁺(aq) + 2OH⁻(aq) → Cu(OH)₂(s)

Write a balanced equation for the addition of aqueous calcium chloride and lithium nitrate solutions. Show the total ionic and net ionic equations.
Both calcium nitrate and lithium chloride are soluble in water. There is no reaction between calcium aqueous calcium chloride and lithium nitrate solution. Therefore, no equation can be written.
