Any accident should be reported to YOUR insurance company.

Your lender doesn't care, and neither does the dealer. And I've never heard of a requirement to get an oil change after an accident, not in any jurisdiction. Don't quote me on that if you live in the UK though, because they really do have some weird traffic laws there.
The folks to report your accident to would be your insurance company and possibly the police, not your lender.

You are not required to notify the bank or dealer of an accident unless it is not covered by insurance or is considered a total loss.

No. You just need to report it to the police. Report it to the insurance company if the guilty party isn’t going to pay for the repairs out of pocket.
