My Boston terrier is 12 years old And is making a noise like he’s going to throw up and is breathing very fast. Does this mean he’s dying?

Ask the vet who should have been providing him with comprehensive geriatric wellness exams every six months. There are no vets on YA, nor can a vet do anything without examining him.Discuss all options, possible treatments, prognosis, quality of life then put your feelings aside and do what is best for the dog.

If this is something new, now might be a good time to take him to your vet for a health check so he goes into his final years pain free and happy.

No my dog does this too they do it when they are nervous sometimes. This or his stomach might be upset. If it happens more and you are concerned take him/her to vet.
