Humidifier that is ugly brown plastic I want to put it in my living room. Can I spray paint it black so it looks like furniture?

Yes. Car bumper paint should be ok for this as it is meant for plastics without a primer, and is usually black.

Sure. Just get spray paint for plastic. Make sure you tape over any operating parts including vents.
