Sui Lai's waitress job is to serve customers at their tables in a restaurant-coffee shop.

My most memorable thing as waitress was that I received $38,000 tip from an old dude.
It was a rainy and slow day and Bob, the cook, smoked more cigarettes than bacons. He came in around 9PM, a few minutes before we were to close, asking for a icecream. Seeing this poor old dude with thirsty eyes, two extra scoops of rocky road I gave him. Slowly ate away but he asked for more. And more, and more.
Not to disappointed the old dude, I kept the dive open for another hour. Nonetheless, after he was done with the treat, he said it was his birthday and asked if he could have the icecream for free. Man! How could I be mad with a pair of puppy eyes? So, I sang him a happy birthday to you song.
