From where to where?
All meals are pre cooked in mass catering facilities. They are reheated and served thousands of miles away from where they were made. It is something to fill you belly and break the monotony of a long flight.
Too bad if the menu item is chicken and you prefer beef.
Every passenger on a flight will never be satisfied with whatever the menu choice might be on a particular flight.
You eat what is offered or say no thank you. IT IS ONE MEAL maybe two. WHY such a big deal.
If you want the First class meals then just pay for the First Class ticket. The meals in First Class are very good on all the Airlines.
NO ONE can say that you will like a certain cuisine of the departure country or that days choice of menu items.
Need something particular for your special reasons then you ASK FOR IT in advance.
I pick the Airline that is going where I want to go when I want to go.
So far have not had to pick which flight based on the menu served that day.
ALL MAJOR Airports have very good quality kitchens. They make many cuisines at ALL OF THEM.
The Airlines arrange the meal they want. NO ONE can say if YOU will like it.

From the above one I would not have taken the curry meal. I am allergic.
The stuff pepper in first class on American would not have been eaten by me. Could be that allergy.
Low cost Budget Airlines are not noted for their cuisine.
