yamaha or fender acoustic guitar?

I agree with Mikey and Mr Smartypants - Fender have a poor reputation for acoustics whilst Yamaha are well-known for good quality, reasonably priced low to mid level acoustics.
But, I'd need to try they actual guitars - there will be some Fender acoustics that are "better" than some Yamahas.

Yamaha, assuming you're a beginner. Fender acoustics are the worst. I recommend the FS800, a great acoustic guitar for the beginning guitarist. Good luck, and don't forget to get lessons.

In average I would say Yamaha. But I'd want to play both guitars and see which one I liked better.
