請問知識大大們，此句的as是"以…方式"的意思，作連接詞用。如果作連接詞用，那為什麼 as something that is uniquely French中間要有that，而不是 as something is uniquely French呢？還是此句的as並不是"以…方式"的意思，不作連接詞用呢？謝謝。： ）

gain fame as XXX = 以 XXX 的作用 因而聞名 (or) 作為 XXX 而聞名uniquely French = 法國獨有的
The Eiffel Tower has gained fame all over the world as something that is uniquely French.
埃菲爾鐵塔 作為法國獨有的事物 而聞名於世。
"as" is a preposition in the above sentence.
"as" + something has the meaning "in the role of" something 作為某物 的意思
