What can be done to stop tv satellite signal from freezing every minute?

My upstairs tv has a wireless connection to the satellite receiver box which is downstairs.The other day it started freezing up about every minute. It stays frozen for about 20-30 seconds. The provider had us to try resetting, updating software, powering down, diagnostics. It shows a strong signal. The provider tells us something different every time. What could cause this and how can I fix it? The tv downstairs does not do this.

The wireless connection is the problem,
and the best possible remedy
is using a cable instead of the wireless method.

Sounds like the wireless connection is flakey. Get a wireless signal booster, or, use an ethernet wire. One trick is to run the wire through your heating vents.

When that happens to me I have to reboot the wireless one. It sucks
