if there was this app that had a lot of recipes and notified when your food is about to expire, would you use it?

My brain does that already. Seriously people...I swear they're outsourcing basic mental functions to the point they lose the ability.

I know how to tell when my food is no longer any good and NO app in the world can replace my nose, eyes and taste buds.
AND there already is an "app" that has lots of recipe..its called "internet" or "cook book".

I already have my entire database on my cell phone and I know when things will expire, so an app for that is useless to me..

Aside from the fact that I don't have a gadget that uses apps? No, I wouldn't use such an app. I'd have to let it know the expiry date of every food I buy, which would be a nuisance. My brain already knows how the long the food is going to last as soon as I buy it. Then I'd have to hope it came up with a recipe I like, or keep searching for one just like I do now if I don't know what i want to cook. I have a pretty good idea what I'm going to use a particular food for when I buy it.
