The card reader may use a standard card reader chip. Go to device manger and rt click on the card reader entry will will be listed as an unknown device. Click on properties and highlight the hardware ID in the details tab, it will look something like this
PCI\VEN_XXXX&DEV_XXXX&SUBSYS_XXXXX&REV_13
If you google it you may be able to find the chip manufacturer and from there a generic driver. Alternatively you will find it much simpler to get a USB card reader and use that instead.
Try driver booster by obit install it don't agree to install any of the garbage where that it comes with don't do the free upgrade don't do the free trial just use IObit driver booster run it and see if it installs the proper drivers usually does after you have all your drivers restart your computer and then uninstall the driver booster it is adware but it works very good for getting your drivers installed
there may not be one as your pc is probably supposed to have XP or XP media center on it. Anyway most of them seem to be RealTek, so just try installing another big pc makers driver that supports xp and 7 see my link below, the worst it can do is say none found. and it may not even install. give it a go else look on the realtek site. *** note sometimes chip makers drivers are fine, but since they give pc makers the chance to alter their stuff there is a slight chance it might not support all the features correctly.
