Sudden blind spot in the middle of my vision that has turned into a weird glistening shape?
This has happened before, maybe 2 months ago. It's on the side of my eye, I can't look at it directly. Last time it went away after about 20 minutes, it takes the side of the pentagon. And it's glistening, changing structure. It's smaller than last time. I really need to go to the doctor. I think it might be a "visual migraine" I read a bit about it. Last time it happened my head hurt a bit too, and it hurts a little right now. I hope it goes away soon, it's really scary, please help if you can.

If you get optic migranes, you should be under the care of an ophthalmologist. I agree that it is scary. When I get one, I lie down for 20 minutes with my eyes closed, and it goes away, but I tell my eye doc about it..
Get to the doctor as soon as you can. The chances are that it is a form of migraine and it will go away with no trouble. However, it could be a detached retina or macular degeneration and the sooner it's treated the better the chance of saving your sight.
I'd go to the Dr ASAP if I was you. Vision issues shouldn't be ignored. Once your vision is gone your screwed.
