How long do I have to work to be a lead sales associate at dollar general?

I ve been a cashier for six months now. How do I become a lead sales associate? I was told there should be up to seven at dollar general that has the keys.

If someone has been there longer they will get the promotion first. There is no time limit & no guarantee.

If you are asking us, then you are not that bright and you will probably be a cashier your entire Dollar General career
Why would you think anybody here could answer that question, and the sad part is, you have a manager who knows the answer but yer you come to Yahoo and ask.
Will we see a question from you later asking what brand of toilet paper you should buy? That question is just as stupid as the one you asked, so I expect we will see that in the near future.
