What is 6/2 (1 + 2) equal to? plz help?
回答 (32)
PEMDAS
6/2 (1 + 2)
6/2 (3)
3(3) = 9
Bracket is to be cleared first. 6/2 (1+2) becomes 6/2 * 3.
Division is to be done next. 6/2 * 3 becomes 3 * 3.
With multiplication next, we get 9 as the answer.
6/2(1+2) = 6/2(3) = 3(3) = 9
Case I : (6/2) (1 + 2)
(6/2) (1 + 2)
= 3 × 3
= 9
Case II : 6 / [2 (1 + 2)]
6 / [2 (1 + 2)]
= 6 / [2 × 3]
= 6 / 6
= 1
Approximately 9.
This is your help.

There is a good math website called Cymath. You type in an equation and it shows you how to solve it.
lol guys, he used the fraction sign already, so the answer is one. Notice he does not pose the question using division sign. so it would be 6/2(2+3) = 6/6 = 1 why? look... it is x/y(a+b), it would be x over everything after y because the faction line is right there. It means its including everything behind it. if he used the division sign, namely two dots with a line in the middle, thn the answer would be 9.
1. 6/2(1+2)
2. PEMDAS
3. 1+2 first because it is in parentheses.
4. 6/2(3)
5. 6/2=3
6. 3*3=9
7. 9 is your answer.
Always remember BODMAS Rule
Brackets, Orders (powers and roots), Division and Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction
Answer is 9
9 is the currect answer follow BODMAS Rule
9 is the correct answer everything else is stupid
6/2 (1 + 2) = 3 * (3) = 9.
1 + 2 = 3
6/2 = 3
3 times 3 = 9
Question is open to doubt-------best to use more brackets.
Will take a guess at :-
(6/2) (1 + 2) = (3) (3) = 9
