∛125 - √4
= ∛(5³) - √(2²)
= 5 - 2
= 3
I am reading this as :-
125^(1/3) - 4 x 4^(1/2)
5 - 8 = - 3
so you type ' cube root of 125 minus 4 times square root of 4 ... 5 - 8 = - 3
With or without the radical sign, that expression is a wreck. Here is my best guess at the intended meaning.
³√(125) - 4√(4)
= 5 - 4(2)
= 5 - 8
= -3
125^1/3 - 4*4^(1/2)
= (25^3)^(1/3) - 4*(2^2)^1/2
= 25 - 4*2
= 25 - 8 = 17
