100mL of 0.1M of HCl is added to an antacid tablet to produce a solution

This solution is titrated by 0.1M NaOH. 4.6mL of NaOH is required to neutralize this solution

Does this mean that 4.6mL of HCl was NOT originally neutralized by the antacid?

Yes.

HCl and NaOH react in mole ratio 1 : 1. As HCl and NaOH are both 0.1 M, 4.6 mL of NaOH reacts with 4.6 mL of HCl which is left unreacted with the antacid.

Hence, volume of HCl reacted with the antacid = 100 - 4.6 mL = 95.4 mL
