On the six sides of a die, there are 3 even numbers (2, 4 and 6) and 3 odd numbers (1, 3 and 5).

When rolling a die once :
P(even number) = 3/6 = 1/2
P(odd number) = 3/6 = 1/2

When rolling a die 5 times, P(at least 1 even number)
= 1 - P(no even number)
= 1 - P(5 odd numbers)
= 1 - (1/2)^5
= 31/32

Easier to think of this as (1 -Probability of all odd numbers) in 5 rolls

1 - (1/2)^5
1 - 1/32
= 31/32

Even numbers on a dice-2,4,6=3 total
Total numbers on a dice=6
Therefore 3/6 chance or 50%

Hope that helps thanks

Sorry, now that I think about it wanszeto is right..
