Dress and Battle uniforms of the world?

I see a lot of countries military Dress uniforms look a lot if not modeled after United States dress uniforms, so are they influenced by the United States military style? The same can be asked for battle dress. I know Camo is different in every country but the overall structure of the battle uniform seems similar as well. If anyone can answer this, thank you !
