What to do when you feeling like giving up?

Basically, I failed maths GCSE for the second time and now i have to retake but it's the new specification which is 3 papers and it's harder. I really don't want to do this but i only have 4 GCSEs and i need 5 to get into university. I feel like this has happened at the worst time because my dad is moving to the other side of the world in a few weeks for work and we won't see him until Christmas and I'm in my last year of school so i need to work on my A-levels.

usually i'm very determined and i never give up but this time i am actually fed up. I just don't see the point in doing it again because I know for a fact that i'm going to fail. I don't know if i should do higher or foundation because i fail either way. I tried so hard last year with my tutor, i asked my friends and i prioritised it over my A levels yet i failed again. I'm just so angry and I really want to focus on my A levels. I'm not good at maths and i never will be!

Also, I have the same maths teacher at school. She failed her entire class of retakes so that's even worse for us. I'm just so scared that i won't get into university even if i have good A levels. It;s really hitting my confidence and i feel like i can't do anything. I'm sick of trying hard for nothing. I don't want to try hard and realise it didn't pay off.

Any motivation?

You have stated that you know you are going to fail. You have also stated that you will never be good at math. That is what is known as the self-fulfilling prophecy. With that attitude you will sabotage yourself so you need to ask your self why.
Look at the reasons for your failing the subject. Is one of the reasons a lack of knowledge? Could another reason be a lack of understanding the basics? Is it possible that you make careless errors?
Could it be that you don't see the connections among the various branches of math. As an example, in high school the major difference between Algebra and Arithmetic is that Arithmetic deals with specific numbers whereas Algebra is the generic application, so essentially the rules you learned in Arithmetic are the same rules in Algebra. The method remains the same, only the numbers change. Is it possible that you are out of your depth and that your dreams of attending university has no basis in reality? Only you know the reasons.
It's your life and your choice. You can choose to give up or you can get back on the figurative horse. One of the greatest failures in life is to give up. The reality is that we learn from our failures, not our successes.
