Why don't I find these jokes funny? Does anyone feel the same way?

A statistician is someone who is good with numbers but lacks the personality to be an accountant.

I get the joke, but I don't find it funny...

It's probably funny if you were an accountant. It's also slightly humorous to people who don't believe accountants have any personality either.

They are not meant to be laugh out loud funny. They're meant more just to make you think and see the cleverness involved.
