My autistic sister is constantly angry and confrontational with the family?

I live with my autistic sister, 27, and parents.

My sister is displeased with the city we're living in now. She gets depressed a lot from the place and really wants to move overseas.

She constantly talks angrily and severely to us that she is fed up with the place and often tells me "not to fit in".

Every week, she buys lottery tickets and hopes to win a couple million of dollars.

She often gets confrontational with me and bosses me to get lottery tickets. She says this in a yelling, sharp-toned, and even severe tone.

I am often reduced by her talk, but mostly because I am hearing-sensitive and don't adjust well to noise healthily.

She won't stop yelling and misbehaving even when I tell her to stop or threaten to slap her (which I never do).

She needs to get a life. She's 27 and can't behave like a spoiled brat just because our parents allowed her to live with them, rent free.

choko_canyon: no, my friend, I am not venting my frustration. My question is what can I do to fix my sister's crazy temper.

If it sounds like I'm venting, it's because my sister has very much upset me to the point where I have to fight for sanity - because she can really go psycho unprovoked.

If you have autistic sister you are zhe one that can inderstand her the best. She needs some1 to talk to and some1 that will make her 'wanted and fit in". Try to talk to her more, hang out with her, take a walk and juat try to show her little things that make life better (sunset, coffee in the morning, walk in the evening...). Be her friend and by being that she will be more relaxed and stop yelling. After some time she will enjoy life and stop complaining. Be a brother and make a 'safe place' for her.

Yes, that's how people with autism often behave. Did you have a question, or were you just venting your frustration?

Tell her to move out or something. Didn't she go to University or Something. Does she have a job? If not she should get a job.
