Aside from the Virtual Boy, what is the worst Nintendo device ever made?

The original GBA was pretty bad. Lack of a backlight made it nearly unplayable. I bought one that had the backlight kit installed by a 3rd party. Man, Nintendo really screwed up with that. But at least GBA had lots of good games.

The Wii-U, on the other hand, was a confusing product for most consumers who didn't know it was a separate console, and then it had practically zero 3rd party support. I mean you KNOW you've screwed something up when EA even refuses to release Madden on your console!

Nintendo naming its updated version of the 3DS "The New Nintendo 3DS" has to count for something. Egad, Nintendo, who does your corporate naming? They ought to be beaten to death with a bag of unsold Virtual Boys.

Then there's Nintendo Switch. A bad compromise no one really asked for. Nintendo already has the handheld market all locked up so did we really need a new handheld console that Nintendo claims isn't the successor to the 3DS line but everyone else thinks otherwise? And as a home console the Switch is a complete miss due to the small and wonky controllers. Even the arcade controller is a hard to sell both because of its price tag, and because Nintendo can't be bothered to manufacture it in suitable numbers.

Really now, all folks wanted was a Nintendo home console that was at least as powerful as the PS3 that came out over 10 years ago. But no. Instead we get this tablet-that-isn't-a-tablet, and as such, lacks the real hard ware that Sony and Microsoft were using over a decade ago when their last-gen consoles launched. Come on Nintendo, it's pretty embarrassing when your flagship titles can't handle 1080p

Gamecube was fine, i hated Wii and Wii U.

gamecube was pretty terrible. especially the controller.
